A commission from the New Partnership for Africa’s Development (NEPAD) lead Keitu and her father to work together on the creation of a large-scale musical production, and it was during this project that the different indigenous dances of the continent lit something previously dormant inside her, as she recognised what strong links they held to expressions of identity.
